I’ve decided to do something different, and start selling my upcycled pieces I have made from recycled pallets. I do the whole process myself, hand made and hand painted. I have found out that the hardest part is tearing the pallets down. Great exercise for your arms. Lets just say my “bye bye” arms should start disappearing. LOL
I find this very satisfying to see my projects from start to finish. My grandkids have gotten involved also. They are my biggest critics. Example: Ryder asked me “ Mamaw why is Santa look so mean?” Hmmm..I figured out it was the eyebrows. I fixed them and asked him his opinion, and his response was “it looks alot better”. They like to help me mix paint colors to make new colors. I let them paint their own pictures also. It is all learning experiences for all of us.,
I realise they are not perfect, but it gives them character. You want perfect go to Etsy, but be prepared to pay the price. I am doing this just to try to get by with bills, groceries, girls night out, etc. I have found that at the age of 59 going on 60 soon, that employers are not too excited to hire you.
Finally, I want to thank everyone that have liked and will liked this. And those who purchase, or even tell friends.
